Henry Covill Obituary
He was born Nov. 21, 1966, in Painesville.
He was a member of the Lake County Rod and Gun Club and Moose Lodge 490. He was an avid archery hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Mr. Covill was employed at First Merit Bank in Cleveland as a mortgage account executive.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy (Thompson), whom he married June 20, 1992, at Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville; mother, Marilyn (Schnell) Covill of Painesville Township; sister, Terri (John) Nolan of Chardon; nephew, Ryan Nolan; niece, Alissa (Chad) Sines; nephew, Pablo Thompson; niece, Kyra Thompson; great-nephew; Peyton Nolan; brother-in-law, Gordon (Brenda) Thompson of Perry Township; and sister-in-law, Janice Thompson of Painesville Township.
He was preceded by his father, Henry W. "Bud" Covill, Jr.; niece, Kelsey Nolan; and father-in-law, Larry Thompson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave. (opposite Lake Erie College), Painesville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, 508 Mentor Ave., Painesville. Pastor Jimmy Riley will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, P.O. Box 163549, Columbus, OH 43216-3549 or a charity of your choice. Interment will take place in Perry Cemetery in Perry.

My thoughts go out to Cathy and family for their loss. Bill was not only one of my favorite Theta Chi Fraternity brothers at BGSU, he was like a real big brother to me when he was my roommate during my Jr. year of '88/'89 and following summer. He was so nice to me and always was there to help me when I needed it. We had so many great times together which I will always remember fondly. I really loved Bill (who we all called Diamond Bill) and he will be missed by everyone including all his brothers from Theta Chi Gamma Mu.

Cathy, Gordon and family. I cannot express how sad this news made me and pray for you and the family through this most difficult time.
