Mary Rogers Obituary

Mary Patricia Rogers, age 73, of Painesville, passed away May 15, 2011, at her residence.
She was born May 15, 1938, in Cleveland.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Painesvillle, Marion Club and the Red Hat Society. She was also active with the Fairport Harbor and Painesville Senior Centers, and a 1956 graduate of Collinwood High School.
Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker and had worked at Bailey Meter Company prior to that.
She is survived by her husband, Richard E.; daughters, Penelope Brandon of Oregon, and Marguerite Rogers and Kathleen Rogers both of Painesville; sons, Tim Arp of Painesville and Sean Arp of Euclid; stepdaughter, Shannon Anderson of Zanesville; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Daniel (Rita) Paul, Lawrence Paul and David Matthews; and sister, Kattie Daly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Mary (Casserly) Paul.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to8:30 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave. (opposite Lake Erie College), Painesville.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Stephen Vellenga of St. Mary Catholic Church will officiate.
