Daniel Barrett Obituary
Born December 14, 1964 in East Cleveland. He was a lifelong Mentor-on-the-Lake resident.
He was an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed going to the beach, spending time with his dogs, and camping at Put-in-Bay with his family. Dan gave the gift of life through Life Banc Donation.
Dan was a material handler at Steris for many years.
Survivors are his loving companion Connie Fisher of Mentor-on-the-Lake; his son Nick Barrett, of Mentor, sisters Debbie (Chris) Sethman of Willowick, and Terry (Jeff) Marcum of Mentor-on-the Lake; step daughter Lori (Darrell) Steele of Mentor-on -the-Lake; step grandchildren Ryan, Tyler and Ashley Steele; nieces and nephews Trish and Katie Hodge, Doug, Rachel and Riley Marcum; and his uncle Kenny (Anne Marie) Barrett of Brooksville, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Barrett and Patricia Lehman; maternal grandparents Charles and Shirley Easton; and paternal grandparents Edward and Florence Barrett.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mr. Barrett's memory to the American Diabetes Association, Independence Office, 4500 Rockside Rd., Suite 440, Independence, OH 44131. or Lake County Humane Society 7564 Tyler Boulevard, Mentor, Ohio 44060.
