Helen Podnar Obituary
She was born Feb. 27, 1922, in Wyden, W.Va.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Ss. Robert and William Parish, Croatian Fraternal Union 859, and S.N.P.J. Lodge 6.
Survivors are her son, Michael (Lynne) Podnar of Connellsville, Pa.; granddaughter, Amy Podnar of Connellsville, Pa.; sister, Mary (Vincent) Smith of Eastlake; brothers, George Bulick of Mentor, Joseph (Mary Ellen) Bulick of Euclid and Charles (Ruth) Bulick of Mentor; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Podnar; parents, George and Helen Bulick; son, Paul Podnar; and sister in law, Faith Bulick.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2011, at Ss. Robert & William Parish, 367 E. 260th St., Euclid. Burial will be held in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave. Willoughby, OH 44094.
Contributions are suggested to Ss. Robert & William Catholic Parish, 367 E. 260th St., Euclid, OH 44132.
