David A. Werfel Obituary
David A. Werfel, 59, of Harrison City, Pa., and formerly of Eastlake, passed away Nov. 22, 2013, in Pittsburgh.
Born Jan. 20, 1954, in Cleveland, David enjoyed fishing and was a skilled handyman. He was also an avid Ohio sports fan.
David joined the Army in 1972, and retired in 1993 as a CW03. He spent his career as a military police officer, ending it as a CID agent. He had a great sense of humor and was loved by his family.
Survivors are his daughters, Renee (Lucas) Angel and Heather (Keith) Fletcher; grandchildren, Tyler Werfel, David Angil, Brayden Fletcher, Madelyn Angil and Rayanne Fletcher; sister, Debra Kaleal; and nieces, Jessica Yates, Jena Manson and Jill Kaleal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Gloria Werfel; and brother, Kenneth.
Friends will be welcome from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at Beinhauer's Funeral Home, 2630 West Liberty Ave., Dormont, Pa., with services to immediately follow at noon. Inurnment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors.
