Faith Corrigan, age 87, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, in Willoughby.
She was born Oct. 16, 1926 in Cleveland, and had lived in Cleveland Heights before moving to Willoughby 35 years ago.
Ms. Corrigan was a reporter for the New York Times, the Cleveland News and the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Later in life she was an Adjunct Professor of English at Lakeland Community College.
Survivors are her children, Marjorie F. Refsnes of Willoughby and Sunniva Refsnes (Michael) Collins of Cleveland Heights; grandchildren, Kristina Venephe and William Arthur Collins; brothers, William H. and Gilbert E. Corrigan; and many nieces and nephews.
Ms. Corrigan was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Refsnes; and sister, Margaret Corrigan Downe.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 12 Noon at St. Colman Church, 2027 W. 65th St., Cleveland, OH 44102. Interment will be private.
