Herbert Schultz, 88, of Mentor, passed away March 9, 2013, at his home.
Born May 25, 1924, in Cleveland, Mr. Schultz was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and served in the European Theater, and was a member of the Euclid Veterans Association for 67 years and St. John Nottingham Lutheran Church for 63 years.
He was employed as a general supervisor for Fisher Body on Coit Road in Cleveland, retiring in 1983 after 28 years of service.
Survivors are his wife of 65 years, Mary D. (nee Obreza); children, Herbert (Nancy) and Connie; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason), Monica (Tony) and Nicolette; great-grandchildren, Gina and Logan; and brother, Raymond (Margaret Ann).
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold, Clarence, Leonard, Roy and Edward; and sister, Erna Pretzlav.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
