Mario Henry DeStevens, 85, of Euclid, passed away Oct. 12, 2013, at Hilltop Village in Euclid with his family at his side.
Born Jan. 29, 1928, in Cleveland, Mario was a Korean War Air Force veteran and taught ballroom dancing his entire life at local colleges, schools and community centers. Mario owned the store, Tile Town, on Vine Street in Eastlake in the 1960s and 1970s. He led a very active life, golfing and bowling and was a loyal Indians fan.
He is survived by his daughter, Shelly (Patrick) McCoy; son, Christopher; granddaughters, Sarah and Jennifer McCoy; and sister, Violet DeStefanis.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, John and Geraldine DeStefanis.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, where family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will take place at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
