Peter H. Cicora, 87, of Wickliffe, passed away Dec. 3, 2012, in Laguna Hills, Calif.

Born April 6, 1925, in the Murray Hill area of Cleveland, he had been a resident of Wickliffe for the past 50 years.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Wickliffe and the V.F.W. Post Wade Park in Cleveland.
Mr. Cicora retired from Conrail Railroad in 1981, as an electrical inspector after 31 years of service.
Survivors are his children, Dr. R. Allen (Kathy) Cicora, Phyllis (Charles) Polito, Diane (Rich) Williams, Scott Cicora, Peter A. Cicora and Annette (Matt) Cicora Moore; grandchildren, Natalie, Vincent and Stephanie Polito, Charlene, Austin and Chase Cicora; sisters, Mary Lloyd and Rita (Richard) Chapman; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Effie (Renkenberger) Cicora; and twin daughters, Shirley Marie and Philomena Cicora.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 29840 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
