Ralph E. Pratt, age 76, of Mentor, formerly of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord July 17, 2014, at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Twp. He was born November 17, 1937, in East Cleveland.
Ralph retired from Caterpillar Corporation Towmotor Division and he enjoyed reading, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a
U.S. Marine Corps
Ralph left behind his wife of forty years, Sharon; children, Deborah (Larry) Kobelka, David Pratt Sr., Darleen (Charles) Pratt, Denise Ferguson, Sean Pratt Sr., and Shannon (Matthew) English. Also left behind were his grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, James, Dawn, David Jr., Dawn, Darleen, Haley, Kira, Breeanna, Hannah, Sean Jr., Emma, and Jacob; and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Ralph and Hilda; and one granddaughter, Deanna.
A celebration of Ralph's life will be held Tuesday, July 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following at 6 p.m. at Lakeshore Assembly of God, 8880 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Foundation, Wounded Warriors, or Lakeshore Assembly of God.
