Robert S. Miller Obituary
Services for Robert S. Miller, 84, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
Mr. Miller passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Kemper House in Mentor.
Born Aug. 3, 1928, in Johnson City, Tenn., he had lived in Willoughby for the past 50 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict as a military police officer in Japan.
Mr. Miller was employed as a sheet metal brake operator at the former White Motors Corporation in Cleveland for more than 28 years.
He is survived by his sons, Robert S. Miller Jr. of Beachwood and Steven R. (April) Miller of Willoughby; grandchildren, Justin, Nicole, Robert III, Stephanie and Steven; great-granddaughters, Kylie and Andi Elizabeth; brother, Jack Miller of Naples, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
His wife of 50 years, Bonnie L. Miller, passed away Sept. 2, 2007. His parents, Grover Cleveland and Ethel (Blalock) Miller; and five siblings, are also deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert A. Gaston will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens in Willoughby.
