Agnes Kondas Finch, 96, passed away July 23, 2013, in Roanoke, Va., where she had resided for the past 12 years.
Agnes (Kay) was born in Ashtabula and was the eighth of 10 children. She and her husband, Glen, were married for 68 years and lived in Painesville for 35 years before retiring to Bayonet Point, Fla., in 1977.
Glen preceded Agnes in death at the age of 96 on April 6, 2011, in Roanoke. He was born in Jefferson and received the Purple Heart award during World War II.
Agnes and Glen are survived by their son, Dennis (Barbara) of Moneta, Va.; Agnes' brother, Robert Kondas of Elida; three grandchildren, Kevin Finch, Cathy Hammersley and Carrie Moran; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Painesville at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, for visitation, before celebrating an 11 a.m. Mass of Resurrection for Agnes and Glen. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Painesville.
Arrangements entrusted to Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home in Painesville.
