Angelo Pompignano, 78, of Port Saint Lucie, Fla., passed away Oct. 2, 2013.
He was born May 8, 1935, in Cleveland, and was a resident of Northfield before moving to Port Saint Lucie 20 years ago.
Mr. Pompignano was the beloved husband of Lois M. (Bauer); dearest father of Michael A.; dear brother of Joseph Pompignano, Mary Wagner, Yolanda and Robert Kaleal and June (Sam) Mamich; dear brother-in-law of Robert and Angie Bauer, and Josephine Pompignano; and cherished uncle and godfather to many.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jennie Maniche, Theresa Stinziano, Nunzio Pompignano and Nina Stockstill; brothers-in-law, Santo Maniche, Peter Stinziano, Ed Wagner and Skip Stockstill; and sister-in-law, Marian Pompignano.
Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at The Vicchiarelli Funeral Home, 5252 Mayfield Road (between Richmond and Brainard Roads), Lyndhurst.
