Mass of Christian Burial for Ann M. Anderson, 49, of Concord Township, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mrs. Anderson passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at University Hospital in Cleveland.
Born Feb. 21, 1963, in Akron, she had lived there before moving to Concord Township 25 years ago.
Mrs. Anderson worked as a second grade school teacher at the St. Mary of the Assumption School in Mentor for 15 years.
Survivors are her husband, James Anderson; children, Jonathan, Christopher and Meghan Anderson; mother, Frances Yahner of Stow; sisters, Julie (Caryn Thornburg) Panis of Tracy, Calif., Mary (Joe) Hassing of Littleton, Colo., Jean (Carl) Rakich of Medina and Catherine (David) Murdock of Akron; parents-in-law, Marilyn and Bob Anderson of Copley; and brothers-in-law, Mike (Chris) Anderson of Kenner, La., and Rick (Cindi) Anderson of Monroe Falls. She is also survived by many other loving family members and friends and will be missed by her Pomeranian, ""Poochie.""
Ann was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Yahner; and brother, Thomas Yahner.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Private family inurnment will be held in All Souls Cemetery at a later date.
