Anne H. Prekel, 97, of Euclid, passed away Feb. 20, 2013, at Hillcrest Hospital.
Born April 5, 1915, in Cleveland, she had lived in Euclid for the past 62 years.
Anne was a member of SS. Robert and William Parish. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, gardening and sewing. Anne's family and family functions were what gave her the most enjoyment in life. She met her husband of 54 years at Euclid Beach Amusement Park.
Anne worked as a retail sales clerk in the past and helped her husband and daughter in their accounting practice.
Survivors are her daughters, Marilyn Boncela (Daniel) and Joanne Rees (Charles); grandchildren, Paula O'Brien (Scott) and Eileen Simon (Paul); and great-grandchildren, Cecelia O'Brien and Paige, Elliot and Wesley Simon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry M.; parents, Stanley and Mary Dlugoleski; and brothers, Edward, Henry and Stanley Dlugoleski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at SS. Robert and William Catholic Church, 367 E. 260th St., Euclid. Burial will be in All Souls Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Mullally Funeral Home located in the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Road and Route 91).
