Annie Elizabeth (Lohr) Wilkerson Obituary
Annie Elizabeth (Lohr) Wilkerson passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at home in Painesville.
Annie was born June 9, 1918, in Rockwood, Pa. She was 94 years young. She loved life, her family, and friends. She was a wonderful wife to our father Clair E. Wilkerson. They loved each other very much, rarely were they ever apart from each other until our father's passing in October of 2000.
Annie is survived by her children, Edwin R. Wilkerson and his wife, Juliette of Painesville, Barbara M. Trisket and husband, James of Madison, and Don H. Wilkerson and partner Gwen, of Painesville. She is also survived by brother Charles Lohr and his wife Shirley; and sisters, Eleanor Latshaw, and Mary Bancroft. She leaves 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and three on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clair E. Wilkerson; daughter, Jean Clevenger and her husband Phillip; grandchildren, Eric, Becky and Michael; three loving sisters; four loving brothers; daughter-in-law, Debbie Wilkerson; and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
She was the best mom, sister, aunt, grandma and great-grandma. She was truly wonderful and special to all who knew her. Only heaven knows how much we will miss you, your family.
If you would like instead of flowers, a gift to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH, 44110 would be appreciated. They are all wonderful caregivers at Western Reserve, truly caring and compassionate to all that need them.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison.
Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
