Arnold "Bud" Woidtke, age 93, of Mentor for the past 31 years, and formerly of Euclid, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Mentor Way Care Center in Mentor.

He was born Jan. 28, 1920, in Cleveland.
Mr. Woidtke was a retired machinist from GE.
Bud was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and B.P.O.E 549, both in Painesville. He enjoyed golf, fishing, reading, and crossword puzzles. Bud was also a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his children, Barbara (Bill) Nagy of Laurence Harbor, N.J., Janice (Jim) Bohinc of Chester Township and Marilyn (Ed) Ritz of Henderson, Nev.; son-in-law, Jim Lentz of Mentor; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceding Bud in death are his wife, Ruth Woidtke; and daughter, Carol Lentz.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
