Barbara A. (Phillips) Watt, 79, of Painesville, died Jan. 23, 2014, at Homestead II in Painesville.|
She was born Oct. 24, 1934 in Cleveland and moved to Mentor in 1941. Barbara grew up in Mentor and graduated from Mentor High School in 1953.
She was a longtime employee of Discount Drug Mart and was previously employed for many years in office and factory work.
She loved the Lord, her family, movies, theater, walks, volunteering, baseball, the Cleveland Browns and animals; especially dogs.
Survivors include her daughters, Valerie Watt of Mentor and Mary (Robert) Lang of Painesville; brother, Tim (Genny) Phillips of Concord Township; and sisters, Judy (Dave) Johnson of Orwell and Diane (Bill) Sanders of Painesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen (Somajtes) Phillips; and brother, Ronald (Bernadette) Phillips of Fla.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville. Please meet at church.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Interment will be in Mentor Cemetery.
