Bernard A. "Bernie" Canniff, 84, of Camp Hill, Pa., and formerly of Hudson, Fla., and Cleveland, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Golden Living Center, in Camp Hill, Pa., surrounded by his loving family.|
He was born Jan. 23, 1929, in Cleveland, to the late Ralph Canniff and Marie Zimmerman.
Bernie attended the First United Methodist Church in Hudson, Fla. He was a Korean War Army veteran.
Bernie was a retired engineer for Eaton Corporation, an avid golfer, car buff, and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Gordon Canniff.
Bernie is survived by his loving wife, Brenda J. (Itterly) Canniff of Camp Hill, Pa.; sons, Keith B. (Kathy) Canniff of Lynwood, Wash., and Kenneth Canniff of Holiday, Fla.; one stepson, Jeffrey E. Mohn of Sunbury, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Lynn D. Parsons of Camp Hill, Pa., and Marla S. (Randy) Seip of Troy, Ill; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
