Funeral services for Betty Hoffman, 84, of Painesville Township, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Painesville Assembly of God Church, 10949 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Painesville, with the Rev. Aaron Taylor officiating.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
Mrs. Hoffman passed away March 22, 2013, at her residence.
The daughter of Virgal and Hallie (Phillips) Hauser was born March 4, 1929, in Flemington, W. Va.
She was a cook for Painesville Township Schools at Hale Road Elementary for 20 years.
Betty was a devoted member of the Painesville Assembly of God Church and enjoyed quilting, working in her garden, canning, reading and looking for bargains at garage sales.
This loving wife and mother is survived by her sons, Wayne Hoffman and Kent (Dee) Hoffman; siblings, Virgil (Mary) Hauser, Sarah (Walter) Ayers, Lula Bell (Joseph) Nessar, Ronnie (Donna) Hauser, Rita (Lee) Sines and Phyllis (Kermit) Hedrick; and sister-in-Law, Joanne Hauser.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard O. Hoffman on Feb. 2, 2013; son, Dennis Lee Hoffman; parents; and siblings; Dorothy Edwards, Charles Hauser, Norma Moore, Joanne Knight and Phillip Hauser.
Interment will be in Perry Cemetery.
