Betty M. Hamilton, age 76, of Huntsburg, passed away Wednesday morning, March 21, 2012, at her residence.
She was born April 19, 1935, daughter of Frank and Hazel (Pfenniger) Hauser.
Betty graduated from Middlefield High School in 1953, and was a lifelong resident of the area.
She retired from CVS in Middlefield after 24 years.
Her hobbies included sewing, baking, shopping, and taking care of her dogs, "Baily and Mandy." She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by her friends and family.
Survivors are her four children, Judi Schauer of Troy Township, Dale (Ann) Hamilton of Milan, Janet (John) McDougall of Thompson and Denny Hamilton of Mentor; 10 grandchildren; her brother, Frank (Zada) Hauser of Chardon; and her sister-in-law, Laurie Hauser of Parkman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Hazel Hauser; and brother, Bill Hauser.
A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2012, at Russell Funeral Service, 15670 West High St. (Route 87), Middlefield. Pastor Jerry Kelb of Painesville United Methodist Church will officiate.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Huntsburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Geauga County Humane Society, 15463 Chillicothe Road, Novelty, OH 44072.
