Carmen S. Russello, 89, of Mentor, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013, at his grandson's residence in Willoughby Hills.
Mr. Russello was born Oct. 6, 1923, in Cleveland. He was a resident of Lake County for the past 58 years, living in Mentor.
Carmen was a member of the Italian-American Club of Mayfield Heights and a retired employee of the Lubrizol Corporation.
He was the loving father of Carol Lee (R. Dale) Wilson of Geneva; cherished grandfather of David (Kayla) Tuttle of Ashtabula and Thomas R. (Alene) Tuttle of Willoughby Hills; great-grandfather of Alene Mary, Alyssa, Tommy, Anna, Amy, Timothy, Edward, Benjamin, Thaila and Emma; great-great-grandfather of Johnny, Annamae and Alene Mary; and brother of Mary Komonick and Mamie Nagy. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Carmen was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine L. (Petroff) Russello in 2006; parents, Thomas and Virginia (Bullara) Russello; and brothers, Tony Russello and Charlie Russello.
Family and friends are to meet at 11 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2013, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor, for the Funeral Mass. Fr. Russ Rauscher will officiate.
Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
Family suggests donations in Mr. Russello's name be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 734 Alpha Drive, Highland Heights, OH 44143.
