Carole A. Litnar, 50, of Saybrook, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at her home.
Born March 30, 1963, in Painesville, to Joseph and Margaret McGinnis, Carole was a resident of Saybrook for the past 22 years and was a previous resident of Madison. She had worked as a baker at the Giant Eagle in Geneva for the past 19 years.
Carole loved to bake.
Survivors are her husband, James whom she married in 1985; daughter, Nicole Litnar of Saybrook; granddaughter, Kylee of Saybrook; sisters, Diane Kayda of Madison and Susan (Charles) Bevington of Boyertown, Pa.; brothers, Bill (Mickey) McGinnis of Waldorf, Md., and Bob (Bonnie) McGinnis of Gibsonia, Pa.; and mother, Margaret McGinnis of Ashtabula.
Carol was preceded in death by her daughter, Courtney M. Litnar in 2012; and father, Joseph McGinnis.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Potti Funeral Home, 2726 Hubbard Road, Madison.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Saybrook Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve in Ashtabula.
