Charles Onder Obituary
He was born Sept. 29, 1943, in Cleveland.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of St. John Nepomucene Church and the American Legion.
Mr. Onder retired in 2003 as a purchasing agent for NASA in Cleveland.
Survivors are his beloved wife of 44 years, Lorina "Lori" Onder (Lishka); children, Christopher (Trudy), Thomas (Amy) and Lilli (Jason) Stapp; grandchildren, Olivia and Ava Onder, Hannah and Daniel Stapp; mother, Lillian E. Onder; brother, Garrick (Deborah) Onder; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steven E. Onder.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the Salvation Army or St. John Nepomucene Church, 3785 Independence Road, Cleveland, OH 44105.

"It's your dime, spill it"...I would hear that phrase hundreds of times as a kid when I tried to call Lilli. I would always make a point to say "Don't you know we use quarters now"...He would always say "I'm old...When I was your age, it was only a dime, so it stays a dime on my answering machine" It always made me laugh because he was so serious, but humorous at the same time...He's definitely one of a kind :)...Lilli, Tom, and "Mom," my heart and prayers go out to everybody.

Chuck and I joined the Air Force together in 1961 and caddies at Shaker club for several years before that. We have remained friends and stayed in touch over all these years. We always knew when Christmas season was near when we got our X-mas card from Chuck & Lori. I was so glad we were able to see each other one last time when we were in Cleveland. Cheryl and I will miss you and your wonderful laugh and outlook on life. I am sorry we did not remember to get pictures when we were there but we will remember you forever. My heart felt condolences go out to you Lori and your family. Cheryl and I will miss Chuck very much.
