Christine Svach Obituary
Born January 2, 1926, in St. Joseph, Mo., she had been a Lake County resident for more than 50 years.
She was an active member of the Erieside Church on the Boulevard. She loved her church. She worked as a hostess at Wendy's restaurant in Willowick until her 82nd birthday. She loved helping others and especially enjoyed helping the seniors at Wendy's.
She was the loving mother of Kathleen Ann (Kelly) Stroud of Belle, W. Va.; Daniel Svach of Eastlake; and Gayle C. King, of Fairport Harbor; the cherished grandmother of Nate, Mandy, Tim, Teresa, Lori, and Adam; and the great-grandmother of Ethan, Owen, and Mia. She also is survived by a sister, Darlene Roach, of Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Svach; her loving children, John Svach and Sandra Svach; and siblings Cliff Gillet, Lucille Pankau, and Gene Gillett.
Memorial services will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the McMahon-Coyne-Vintantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, Ohio. Pastor Larry Pozza will officiate. Burial will be at Willoughby Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
The family suggests donatins in Christine's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 74924, Cleveland, OH 44194.

My mom Lela worked with Chris at Wendy's several years ago. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My mom passed away in Sept 2009 and I have thought about Chris several times since then but had no way of getting in touch with her. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. I know how hard it is, but your family and friends will be there to help you through it.
