1958 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
COLLEEN A. (nee Kiernan) PASSALACQUA, age 55, passed away suddenly April 25, 2014, at Lake West Hospital.
She was born Sept. 23, 1958, in Cleveland. She was a resident of Willoughby Hills for 21 years and a former resident of Mayfield Hts.
She was a volunteer for Cerebral Palsy and also at St Noel with Vacation Bible School. Colleen graduated from Regina High School in 1976. Colleen loved playing tennis at one time and was a huge Cleveland Browns fan and a big movie buff. She was a very outgoing, hardworking, friendly and a determined woman who was poplar with everyone. She was a very positive person and always knew people wherever she went.
Most recently she was a sales associate at WalMart, and previously was the activities coordinator at the Cuyahoga County Nursing Home.
She is survived by her spouse, Jerome, of 25 years; son, Christopher ; daughter, Karen; mother Doreen (nee Plummer) Kiernan; brothers, Timothy, Sean (wife Allison), Brian (wife Beth), Dion (wife Beth) Kiernan; sister, Sharon Tripodo; dearest daughter-in-law of Julius and Cecilia (nee Mendiola) Passalacqua; dear sister-in-law of Julie and Raymond Koren, Linda and Daniel Cusick; fond niece, aunt, cousin and friend of many.
She is preceded in death by her father, William J. Kiernan; and brother William Kiernan.
Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Noel Catholic Church, 35200 Chardon Rd.,
Willoughby Hills, Ohio 44094
Fr. George Smiga will officiate the services.
Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Colleen from 2 to 4 and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Road & Rt. 91).
