Deloss A. Daniels, 73, of Las Vegas, Nev., passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, in his home.
Born June 7, 1940, in Painesville, he grew up in Willoughby, where he chose to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps. He came home to work in Cleveland as a metal worker for Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 33 for 34 years, before retiring to Las Vegas in 2000.
After moving to Las Vegas, he worked at the Palms Hotel and Casino in promotions. He loved video poker, golf and snacking on chips and salsa.
Mr. Daniels is survived by his cherished friends, relatives, adoptive families and his six godchildren.
A memorial service will be noon Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, Nev.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
