Dominic Apolito, 85, of Willoughby, passed away peacefully July 31, 2013.
Mr. Apolito was the loving father of Dominic (Gloria) of Willowick, Rhonda Root of Willoughby Hills and Robin (Darrell) McGroarty of Mentor-on-the-Lake; grandfather of five; and great-grandfather of four.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Appolito and Nancy Tomasco.
Dominic was a proud U.S. Marine veteran. He was a member of the Willoughby
. He enjoyed gardening, collecting coins and puzzles. An established musician since the age of 5, Dominic was in the Musicians Union. Music was his life! He will be missed at the Willoughby (formerly Browning) Senior Center where he enjoyed playing regularly.
Family will receive friends from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at the Willoughby Senior Center, 38032 Brown Ave., Willoughby, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 8:15 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the Dominic Apolito Trust Fund.
