Douglas K. Pioch, 58, of Concord Township for the past 25 years and formerly of Indianapolis, Ind., died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at Hospice House in Cleveland with his family by his side.
Born April 6, 1955, in Indianapolis, Ind., Mr. Pioch was a banking supervisor for the Federal Reserve Bank in Cleveland, where he had worked for 36 years.
Doug was a member of St. Gabriel Church in Concord, where he was a lector. He was a graduate of Miami University in Oxford with a bachelor of science degree in business.
Doug enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Marie E. (Carroll) Pioch; children, Katherine A., Erin M. and Daniel J. Pioch, all of Concord Township; mother, Ruth Pioch; sisters, Gwen (Buddy) Gibson, Roberta Pioch and Becky (Mark) Wittmayer, all of Indianapolis, Ind.; brother, David (Jennifer) Pioch of Philadelphia, Pa.; and brothers-in-law, James (Joanne) Carroll and Thomas (Stephanie) Carroll, both of Highland Heights, and Michael (Patricia) Carroll of Aurora.
Doug was preceded in death by his father, Richard Pioch; and parents-in-law, Paul and Mary Carroll.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
