Memorial Mass for Edward P. Kasper, age 90, of Wickliffe will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at St. Casimir Parish, 8223 Sowinski Ave., Cleveland. (Please meet at church.)

Born Oct. 14, 1922, in Cleveland, he passed away Feb. 22, 2013, at Hospice House.
He was a combat veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the South Pacific Theatre during World War II.
He was a 48-year employee of Gould Inc., retiring in 1989, as a raw material controller.
His hobbies were watching his grandchildren play baseball and football. Ed was also a lifelong Indians and Browns fan.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Winfred (nee Nalepa), whom he married Jan. 14, 1945; and loving children, Donna (Ted) Murawski, Diana (Mike) Caranna, Delores (Doug) Clark, and Michael (Francine) Kasper. He was also the cherished grandfather of Misty, Dusty, David, Matthew, Dean, Frank, Gina, and Joseph; great-grandfather of 16; great -great-grandfather of one; and brother of Raymond, Casimer and Norman.
He was preceded in death by parents, Julius and Alexandria Kacperski; brothers, Zigmund, Benjamin, Albert, and Phillip; and sisters, Delores Kacperski, Sophie (Gene) Holden, Mary (Gustav) Koss, Estelle (Heinrich) Schofield.
Interment with a private service will be held at the Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Jakubs & Son, a Golden Rule Funeral Home in Cleveland.
