Elizabeth D. ""Betty"" Taylor, 84, passed away Tuesday March 12, 2013.
Born in Shaker Heights on Nov. 24, 1928, Betty was the daughter of Clifford and Martha (McCrea) Dangler.
Betty was a resident of Euclid for 37 years before moving to Mentor in 2005.
She was a proud member of the Hathaway Brown Class of 1946 and attended Connecticut College. She was a volunteer at Euclid General Hospital for over 25 years. Betty loved playing cards, especially bridge and Kings in the Corners.
She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Ginny (Matt) South; son, Mike (Robyn) Taylor; five grandchildren, Brian (Leigh), Stacie, Kristopher, Kourtney, and Nelson; two great-grandchildren, Andrew Joseph and Allie; brother, Kip (Jill) Dangler; and cousin, Don (Jane) Dangler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sandra Taylor; brother, Hilliard; and sisters, Barbara Spangler and Virginia Baillie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake with funeral services following at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve or the Humane Society, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
