Eunice M. (Zeroth) Chmielewski Obituary
Eunice M. (Zeroth) Chmielewski, age 94, of Concord Twp. for the past 11 years, formerly of Wauwatosa, Wis., died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at home with her family.
She was born Feb. 2, 1920 in Oconto, Wis.
Eunice loved the Bible. On Sept. 3, 1947 after studying the Bible for some time she became a dedicated, baptized Witness of Jehovah. She enjoyed her door-to-door ministry because it did not discriminate but helped all to learn of God's promises from the Bible. Eunice always humbly trusted that Jehovah cared about her. This is the way she raised her children and these are the lessons she taught her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Eunice and George were married on May 9, 1939. In 2013, she lost her husband of 73 years. They had a very loving bond of marriage. Her spiritual confidence in God, her joy in his service, her family, and her congregation carried her through this loss. She looked forward to the fulfillment of God's promise of the resurrection. Eunice's fine spiritual example will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her children, Joan (Gary) Grant, Brian G. Chmielewski and Gary W. (Karen) Chmielewski; six grandchildren, Jeffrey B. Grant, Jason B. (Karen) Grant, Michele " LG" (Ryan) Bitinis, Brook (Michelle) Chmielewski, Curt (Tammy) Chmielewski and Troy (Tamara Jean) Chmielewski; nine great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Dominick, Maxwell, Joshua, Zaphod, Jackson, Zachary, Jacob and Trace; brother, Clarence Zeroth; and nieces and nephews.
Preceding Eunice in death was her husband, George H. Chmielewski; parents, Henry and Gladys Zeroth; and sister, Dorothy Quandt.
The Memorial Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Mentor Congregation, 7642 Chillicothe Rd, Mentor, OH 44060.
Inurnment will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wis.
Arrangements entrusted to Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, Ohio, 44060.
