Frances B. (Mills) Goglin, age 89, a homemaker, passed away Dec. 4, 2012, at Euclid Hospital.
She was born Oct. 9, 1923, in Greensboro, N.C., and had lived in Kirtland before moving to Gates Mills seven years ago.
Fran was a member of the Captains Yacht Club and St. Mark Lutheran Church. She loved boating, fishing and family gatherings. She had a passion for pinochle and loved the Cleveland Indians.
Survivors are her children, Janet (John) Glowacki of Gates Mills, James (Sandy) of Bainbridge, Richard (Chris) of Cottonwood, Ariz., Jean (Emery) Smith of Jupiter, Fla., and Jeffrey (Candy) of Willoughby; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Fran was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; and siblings, Sybil Cox, Raymond Mills and Hattie ""Pat"" Arbuckle.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 11900 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Schulte & Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home, 5252 Mayfield Road (between Richmond and Brainard Roads), Lyndhurst and one hour before service Saturday at St. Mark Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Fran to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
