Frances M. "Franny" Baron, 86, of Mentor and formerly of Euclid, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Jan. 7, 1926, in Mammouth, Pa.
Franny loved to work in her yard, crocheting, cooking and baking Polish foods, enjoyed walking at the mall and watching the Cleveland Indians. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially to Myrtle Beach. Most all she was a great provider. She belonged to St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children, Bernell Baron Jr. of Waite Hill and Diane (Frank) Zella of Concord Township; grandchildren, William and James Baron, Lorri and Lindsay Zella; sisters, Bertha Payesko, Jane Barich and Bernadine (Joe) Kois; and sisters-in-law, Ann Kolasa and Anna Mae Kolasa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernell Baron Sr.; sisters, Mary Cetera, Alice Wallace, Helen Marhefka, Violet Kolasa, Stella Blout and Annie Blout; and brothers, Joseph and John.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township. (Please meet at church.) Interment will take place in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
