I met Gus Karos when I was 13 years old and to hear of his passing brings me back when I could hear his laugh and smile. He treated me with total respect and took care of his employees well. He truly was a business man. I have so many memories of him. I send my sympathy and I shall always remember him.

There are few to none who truly dedicated a lifetime of humble generosity and unbridled compassion for humanity like Gus Karos. He loved the arts and our world at large and made it all the richer. He is forever the gold in those golden arches and I thank God that he walked upon and served this Earth. Well done, dear friend Gus, Bravo, well done. I shall honor his memory forever.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
