Hillard F. "Don" Houser, 80, of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Thompson, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
Born Jan. 15, 1932, to Lena (Roberts) Houser and Claude Mack Houser, he married Anna Margaret Marlin Jan. 12, 1948, in Detroit, Mich.
Don was the owner of "Quality Bumper," a chrome plating shop in Cleveland. His passion was flying his "Bonanza" airplane and his daily visits to the Sky Ranch Airport in Knoxville. Don loved his farm.
Survivors are his wife of 65 years, Anna Margaret Houser of Knoxville, Tenn.; daughters, Susan (Dennis) Yelenic of Vermilion and Lynn (Kevin) Foley of Mentor; grandchildren, Cheri (Rodrick) Fuchs, Diane (Steve) Feckanin, Eldie (Jennifer) Turner, Donald Foley and Joseph Foley; and great-grandchildren, Danielle Newell, George Fuchs, Riley Fuchs, Anna Feckanin and Emma Feckanin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private family services will be observed.
Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River St., Madison.
