James C Ciula, age 82, of Columbus, formerly of Mentor, died Friday, March 14, 2014, in Columbus.
Veteran of the Air Force of the United States. Jim played 2nd base on the official Air Force baseball team, which lead to a brief stint with the Pittsburgh Pirates farm team. He served as President of Meyer Products until his retirement.
Survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Marilyn Ciula; children, Joel (Patty) Payton of Dublin, Stephen (Christine) Ciula of Las Vegas NV, and Kathy (Roger) Sullivan of Elkhart IN; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Pearl Ciula; and daughter Deborah Zupancic.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085.
