James "Jim" Joseph Allawat Obituary

James "Jim" Joseph Allawat, 56, of Summerville, S.C., passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at his residence.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at James A. Dyal Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place after the funeral service at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville, S.C. followed by a reception at the Welcome Center at Faith Assembly of God, 337 Farmington Road, Summerville, S.C.
Mr. Allawat was born July 21, 1957, in Fort Belvoir, VA, son of Jack Allawat and Drema Lawson Allawat. He graduated from Painesville Thomas W. Harvey High School and Lakeland College; both in Northeast, OH. He was a member of Painesville Assembly of God Church.
Survivors, including his parents; are one brother, Dan Allawat of Miami, FL; two nephews, Christopher Harless of Tampa, FL and Richard French of Summerville, S.C.; his Aunt, Janie Cotner of Deland, FL; and cousin, Randy Cotner of Salt Lake City, UT; his Aunt June & Uncle John Juristy and cousins Joy, Jeff, Jimmy, Judy, and Jill Juristy of North Versailles, PA; his aunt, Terry Roswell of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his uncle, Junior Allawat of Charleston, W. VA.
He was predeceased by one sister, Tammy Allawat Harless; and one cousin, Janet Juristy Bache.
