Funeral Service for James R. Clifford, 72, of Eastlake, will be 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014 at the Jakubs-Danaher Funeral Home, 36000 Lakeshore Blvd., Eastlake, where friends will be received from 4 p.m. until time of service.
James passed away on Feb. 23, 2014 at Hospice House with his family at his side.
He was born on Aug. 24, 1941 in Collinwood.
He was a US Army Veteran.
James worked as a firefighter for five years in East Cleveland and retired from the US Postal Service at Orange Avenue in Cleveland.
He loved to travel and spend time at the ocean, but his true passions were muscle cars, his yard, and his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah (nee McCauley), whom he married on Feb. 17, 1995; as the loving father of Leslie (John) Lynch and Andrea Harlow;
cherished grandfather of Johnny Lynch Jr.; and his dog and faithful companion Tippy.
Interment will be private.
