On Sept. 25, 2013, Jerome C. Teitelbaum rejoined his wife of 70 years, Betty, after they were 108 days apart. Jerome ""Jerry"" was 98 years old.
Mr. Teitelbaum was born June 6, 1915, in Brownsville, Pa., and was a resident of the Mentor area for more than 40 years.
He was a longtime member of St. Paul Presbyterian Church in Mentor, where he served as an elder.
After retiring from sales at age 70, he and his wife, Betty, established and operated Memories to Share Photography.
Jerome is surived by his daughters, Sandra L. (Ernest) Strodtbeck, Linda R. (Michael Ponn) Teitelbaum and Dodi J. (Frank) Fulajtar; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty L. Teitelbaum; daughter, Darlene A. Lynn; brother, Jack ""Buddy"" Teitelbaum; and sister, Dorothy Jean Margulies.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Faith Community Church, 5585 Hopkins Road, Mentor.
