Memorial Mass for John Joseph Edward Nock, 75, of Painesville, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville. (Please meet at the church.) Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.
The son of the late Arthur and Geraldine Nock was born Sept. 15, 1938, in Cleveland, and passed away Sept. 25, 2013, at his home.
A U.S. Navy veteran, John retired in 2003 after 38 years with Lincoln Electric in Euclid. After his retirement, John enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling to Niagara Falls. He also enjoyed visiting various wineries and visiting the Servants of Mary Shrine in Windsor.
Survivors are his wife of 11 years, Elizabeth; daughters, Renee (Steve) Stough and Heather Nock; stepdaughters, Amy (Roy) Bottiggi and Angela Lucci; former wife, Anne Schramm; grandchildren, Myles, Autumn, Sierra, and Jordyn Utz, Juliana Stough, Madalyn and Lilly Bottiggi, and Dominic and Gianna Lucci; sisters, Coletta Maria Bejma and Jeanette Roberta Lewis; uncle, Francis Nock; and dear friend, Richard Newman. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
John was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Nock.
