Josip Baric, 82, of Wickliffe, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Hillcrest Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born May 14, 1931, in Kijevo, Croatia, Josip came to the United States in 1961 and worked as a cabinet maker until retiring in 1996.
Josip loved dancing, especially to the Croatian folklore. He was an active member of the Croatian Domobran, and a member of St. Paul's Croatian Church for 52 years.
Josip is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia; his beloved Pomeranian, Mala; brother, Ivan (Marianna) Baric; sister, Ana Cavka; many nieces and nephews, as well as their families of Croatia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Marilu Jenovic of Wickliffe; nephew, Blaine Birch of Houston, Texas; and brother-in-law, Ralph Birch of Houston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kaja (nee Kovacevic) and Jure Baric; sister, Marija Kolunzic; brother, Tomo Baric; and sister-in-law, Barbara Birch.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at St. Paul's Croatian Church, 1369 E. 40th St., Cleveland. Entombment will take place at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
