Judith "Judy" Deakins Obituary
Judith ""Judy"" Deakins of Perry and previously of Madison, died July 9, 2013, at her home. She was born on Oct. 1, 1953, in Painesville to Foster and Marjorie Miller.
Judy worked as a dispatcher for the Perry Village Police Department and had worked for Bank One. She enjoyed fishing, camping and being with her family. Judy also was a member of First Baptist Church in Perry.
Survivors include her son, Jamie (Jenny) of Willoughby; grandson, Mason; her parents, of Perry; brother, Foster ""Buzz"" (Nancy) Miller of Painesville; sisters, Debbie (David ) Rostocil of Perry and Pam (Mike) McGroarty of Perry; and her nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Craig R. Deakins.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave. (opposite Lake Erie College), Painesville.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Cole of First Baptist Church of Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Perry Cemetery.
