Kathryn (Boyd) Foutch, 90, of Canton, passed away on Monday night, Nov. 25, 2013.
Just three months after her parents immigrated from Scotland, she was born in Massillon, on Aug. 24, 1923.
Kathryn was a graduate of Lehman High School and attended Canton Actual Business College. She was a secretary at the Timken Company and retired when she turned 62 in 1985. She was a member of Christadelphian Church.
Years ago, Kathryn with her sister Gladys and friends loved to ride horses, English Style. Kathryn was fond of entertaining, an avid bridge player and especially enjoyed vacationing on the shores of Maryland.
She was a member of Canton Garden Club, Canton Woman's Club, served on the Aultman Women's Board and was on the Canton Symphony League.
She is survived by her step-son, Bradley Foutch of Chicago, Ill.; niece, Susie (Chris) Ewald of Painesville Township; and great-nephews, Benjamin, Ryan and Brandon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Alston and Polly Watson (MacKenzie) Boyd; her first husband, John Parker; and second husband, John W. Foutch III, on May 12, 2010; and sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Fred Smith.
Friends may call Saturday an hour before services 11 a.m to noon at Arnold Funeral Home, 330-456-7291. Funeral services are on Saturday at noon at the funeral home with Robert Edwards officiating. Final resting place is North Lawn Cemetery.
