Keith M. Wedge, 79, of Huntsburg, and previously of Hambden Township, passed away June 24, 2012, at his residence.

Born Nov. 6, 1932, in Chester Township, he had been a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Wedge was a truck driver for Rimes Trucking, owned KW Trucking and Septic Tank Service and had most recently drove for Mapledale Landscaping.
He served in the U.S. Army during Korea. Keith enjoyed horseback riding, farming, doing mechanical work and playing the fiddle. He was also a longtime member of the Hambden Fire Department.
Survivors are his sons, Brian (Laura) Wedge of Macedonia and Scott Wedge of Hambden Township; daughter, Colleen (Steve) Luoma of Montville Township; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Alice) Wedge of Florida; sister-in-law, Kaye Wedge of Chardon; fiancée, Dianne Bosse of Huntsburg; extended family, Samantha Vaughan, Colette Sweigert, Monique Soltis, Yvette Henrietta and Chad Stefansky; his Palomino, Beau; and his beloved German Shepherd, Fancy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Merritt and Dorothy Mae (nee Carver) Wedge; wife, Harriet (nee Palmer) Wedge; and brother, Calvin T. ""Ted"" Wedge.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon. Pastor Dan Esala of Valley Lutheran Church will officiate.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hambden Township Cemetery.
