Laura L. Hare, 75, passed away peacefully Monday Feb. 24, 2014.
She was born in Portsmouth on Sept. 14, 1938, the daughter of Tony and Audrey (Ramsey) Petry.
Laura was a nurse and worked over 15 years for Manor Care. She raised show dogs and loved riding motorcycles with her husband. She loved her family, especially her four grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving family; her children Donald (Tammy) Hare and Kim (Rich) Kopp; her grandchildren, Shawna Kopp, Joshua Hare, Richard Kopp and Samantha Hare; her great-grandchildren, Madison, Cameron and Caleb; her siblings, Gail Petry, Linda (Ronny) McConaha and Rick (Cheryl) Petry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Donald Hare; her daughter Cherrise Hare, her sister Doris Kocsis and her second husband Ben Kowalski.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27th at 7 p.m. at the MONREAL FUNERAL HOME, 35400 Curtis Blvd. Eastlake.
Visitation will also be held on Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
