Linda Ellen (Barber) Lewis, 48, of Madison, passed away Feb. 12, 2013, in the emergency department in Madison as a result of the flu and high sugar levels.

She was born Feb. 18, 1964, at Huron Road Hospital in Cleveland.
Mrs. Lewis had worked at PCC Airfoils for many years.
Survivors are her husband, Walter Joseph Lewis Jr.; children, Melissa Hotchkiss and David Hotchkiss; stepchildren, Heather Troglin, Jennifer Vance, Samantha Windland and Joseph Lewis; loved and adored grandchildren, Danial Joseph Foltz Jr., Nicole Desoto, Aidan Troglin, Elizabeth Vance, Brooklynn Vance and Preston Vance; mother, Patricia Barber (nee Niebert); sister, Diane Bauerle; niece, Amanda Bauerle; nephew, Adam Bauerle; aunt and uncle, Linda and Jim Niebert of Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Barber; maternal grandparents, James and Virginia Niebert; paternal grandparents, Emma and Charles Barber.
She was a 1982 graduate of Mentor High School. Linda was a very caring, loving person. She was very happily married to Walter Joseph Lewis Jr., whom she married July 29, 2004.
She was very sociable and befriended everyone she met. She was very honest, loyal and hard working. When she was unemployed, she was an at home spouse, mother and grandmother. She spent a lot of time with her family, and nurturing her cats. Some of her hobbies included cooking, baking and going to garage sales.
