Marian Heysler Obituary

Marian R. (Leyrer) Heysler, 76, of Willowick, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011, at Heartland of Mentor.
Born Jan. 30, 1935, in Cleveland, she had lived in Willowick for more than 50 years.
Marian was a homemaker and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, volunteering with her children's scout troops, needlepoint, knitting and baking.
She is survived by are her son, Alan Heysler of Willowick; and daughter, Kathleen (Doug) Balzano of Chester Township; grandchildren, Gregory, Alyssa, Jeffrey and Scott Balzano, all of Chester Township; and sister, Pat (Neal) Hollowell of Willoughby. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.
Her husband, Alfred Heysler, passed away Nov. 3, 2005. Her parents, John and Alberta (Flanigan) Leyrer are also deceased.
Funeral services will be Wednesday evening at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Private interment will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park, Mayfield Village.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Church Street Station, P.O. Box 780 New York, NY 10008-0780.
