1927 - 2013 Obituary Condolences
Mass of Christian Burial for Mary (Lavric) Grum, 86, of Euclid, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Ss. Robert and William Catholic Church, 367 E. 260th St., Euclid. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery.
Mrs. Grum died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, in Springfield, Mo., with her family at her side.
Mary was born April 12, 1927, in Yugoslavia. She was a longtime resident of Euclid and parishioner of the former St. Christine Catholic Church. She had worked in housekeeping for more than 25 years at Bailey Meter. She was a very loving and devoted mother. She enjoyed knitting and baking, especially donuts, poticas and apple strudel. She will be dearly missed by her many friends.
She is survived by her son, Joseph (Ginger); daughters, Anne (Joe) Paznar and Bernadette Plesnicar; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Pavla Pecek; and brother, Ivan Lavric.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob "Jack"; parents, Marko and Maria (Kramar) Lavric; and brother, France Lavric.
The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Road and Route 91).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mary are suggested to the of Greater Cleveland, P.O. Box 74924, Cleveland, OH 44194-4924.
