Nanette Magdalyn Scott Obituary
Nanette Magdalyn Scott, 62, of Mentor, went home to be with the Lord Feb. 11, 2018.
She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
She was born April 9, 1955, in Beaver Falls, Pa., and had been a resident of Lake County for 27 years.
Nanette was a passionate woman with a strong faith in God. Her commitment to always helping others shone through in every aspect of her life. When she wasn't off fighting for a cause, she could be found taking care of her family, crafting plastic canvas, cooking or tending to her garden. Nanette will be remembered as a strong, outspoken, fun-loving woman, who radiated love and beauty everywhere she went. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, who will be missed dearly.
Nanette was the beloved wife of Robert Scott; loving mother of Natalie (Adam) Roberts, Jerod Scott, Philip Janout and Tom Janout; sister of Sherry, Nicki, Cindy, Helen and Bill; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Stella M. (nee Penkasik) Mable.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor, with a celebration of life service at 4 p.m. Pastor Denny Hoynes will officiate. Burial will be private.
